What happens during an iridology consultation

A picture of your iris will be taken with a specially designed camera and then downloaded onto a computer during a typical iris assessment. An iris torch may also be used during the evaluation to provide more detail in the image being taken.

Once the photograph of the iris is taken, it can be uploaded onto a screen to get a closer look at the eye. A Naturopath consultant can show you what they are looking at, explain your iris structure and send you a copy of your left and right iris for your health records.

The eyes are remarkable for the apparent reason they help us see, but they are also composed of more than two million working parts. This is what makes iridology so fascinating as they can provide a map to your health status.

BLUE-GREEN IRIS: Example of a blue-green iris examination with markings that provide your naturopath with a map to your current health status

After downloading the photographs, the iridologist will:

  • Identify the colour of your eye and what that means for you

  • Identify the constitution of your body and structure of your iris

  • Identify your inherent strengths and weaknesses

  • Identify individual iris markings

  • Identify imbalances and any areas of toxicity and inflammation.

The picture of your iris provides your Naturopath with a map to indicate ways to help and support underlying health issues, allowing you to live a healthier life.

The beauty of an iridology assessment is that it is non-invasive and is complementary to most treatments. Contact us today to ask about a consultation or see the services page for more information.
